RE: Popcorn Hour A-210 network problem...
This sounds similar to something I once experienced, not sure why it helped but it was suggested I try a factory reset of the pch and haven't had a problem since. Perhaps upgrading to the new firmware and then factory resetting will help you.

RE: Popcorn Hour A-210 network problem...
ok, it helped, no random hangs, but if I try to show subtitles in the mkv, it f$%ks it up, the movie hangs, and trying to play it again will result is in the movie not starting or black screen.
and also causes general problem playing files until you reboot.
showing subtitles from external SRT file works fine though.
did anyone encounter that problem?

I have a network problem too. When i put my 210 on automatic network, i get a wrong IP adres but when i say 10/100 network, the IP adres is the one i gave at the DHCP server. Is this a bug only i have? Mac adres is alright.

I mention a similar issue here. I just leave my network setting on 10/100. As long as the theoretical bandwidth limit of Blu-Ray content (and thus the best resolution, 1080p) is at 54 Mbps, it's within the network bandwidth limit of 100 Mbps and thus no video dropouts should occur due to the network.

RE: Popcorn Hour A-210 network problem...
Similar issue here: I connected the PCH 200 to the home network yesterday, manual IP settings (192.168.2.17 on PCH, 192.168.2.16 and .13 in PC's)...and It was working fine.
But today, It started to work unstable: could not access to the network, not to one pc at the begining, and can see the network at all at the end (buy myihome works fine).
I tried to update with the latest firmware, restore original settings and set the whole thing again with the same Ip's.
But, I can't find out how to conect to the network ("workgroup") in the new version, as PCH cannot see it. Please, any guide for absolute dummies? I tried the official A210 one, but did not work (It only shows how to conect to an specific folder, not to the "workgroup", and anyway, it does not work).
Thanks in advance.
