PCH A-210 pre-sale questions

Whatever HDD you intend using in your A210 first format it on your Windows PC to NTFS.

Then insert it in the A210.

Before you do that though insert a 8/4Gb USB stick in the rear USB slot and install the NMT Apps on it, see WIKI or manual.

After inserting the HDD when you next want to add content you can simply disconnect the A210 from your TV and connect it via USB and the rear USB Slave port to your PC. Then you'll see it as a Removal Drive in My Computer. Then simply transfer content from your PC via USB to that new drive.

You can also transfer via USB using the likes of USB pendrives and external HDD's.

Im thinking of getting the A210 with pre insalled 500gig hddfrom advancedmp3players , do ineed to do anything to the hdd if it comes preinstalled?. All this talk of formatting an hdd is sooooo new to me.

I don't know of Popcorn hour supplying A210's with preinstalled HDD. It's most likely the seller you linked to who installs the HDD and sell them like that, so questions of if/how the HDD is formatted can only be answered by them.

If you follow the instructions, setting it up yourself is no problem. If you then have questions, this is the place to post them. (But create your own thread)

No if it cmoes pre-installed it should be OK.

To check go to Settings and see if there is an option called 'NMT Applications'. If not then you need to install the NMT Apps which will format the HDD for you.
