iPlayer causes optical out signal to disappear
Running PCH 200>Behringer 24/96>pre/power amp. Downmix on all; HDMI audio off.
Whenever I run the iPlayer app, the optical digital out stops working. The analogue outputs work just fine. Even if I stop iPlayer and go to play music, no optical signal reaches the Behringer. I have to do a cold restart to restore the digital signal (using switch at the back.) Behringer runs fine as checked it with another digital signal, and it handles up to 24/96 so no issues with that. Very odd and very annoying bug that has only started with using the iPlayer app. Maybe time to get the digital audio from the hdmi output with a splitter? I dunno. |

Known bug with some FlashApps youtube, iplayter, etc. HDMI audio works fine but coaxial or optical have problems.
It has been reported and does seem to get fixed and then return. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
