Shipping is $20!!, i was about to order one and after i put in my state its $20, where is this thing coming from China? We need some flat rate USPS boxes or something because this thing cannot be that heavy to charge $20 to ship to NY.

OH! well if it is coming from China then i cannot argue, ill happily pay the $20. But if it is coming from the Califoina office then that price is most outragous.

We don't stock those in our US office as they come to the factory. We just started offering these recently, so I want to say we're going to figure out a happy medium for all.

I don't know where in China the PCH products are shipped from.
Assuming it is in mainland China, regular post is extremely slow and unreliable. I've lost 25% (2 out of 4) of small packets sent to me in Europe, and the ones that do arrive take ~20-30 days doing it. That is supposed to be Air mail I don't shop from there anymore.

If they send from Hong Kong, the situation is completely different. I usually get things in ~8-10 days, and I haven't lost one yet (out of ~20 the last year).

If I were in charge of PCH I would be very unwilling to use regular post from the mainland. It can easily turn into a lot of dissatisfied customers.

My customers do not care where items are shipped from , what they care about is what they cost.Its not our fault things are shipped from the factory in CN.Clearly PCH have to act on this (and from what Steve says are going to) , I would suspect they have been at least little shocked in the reaction to the excessive shipping charges for what is just a block of metal and some spacers...

My suggestion Steve is take a lesser margin for yourselves , treat this item as a "thankyou" item , being as you know the customers that are buying it have already brought your product in the first place...

Since they didn't start to ship yet, from the test, can you give an estimate of temp drop with a HD installed (my A200 is pretty hot)

When you buy factory direct, it comes from the factory priced at MSRP and small volume shipping at horrible rates. Either pay it, don't get it or get it elsewhere. Your not going to change how they do business for years and they aren't newegg.

Steve, do you happen to know if there are amazon plans to carry the case upgrade in the US? Or perhaps a new reseller that might be coming even if you can't say who yet.

The A-210 Chassis Upgrade Kit from Hong Kong to all countries. The delivery period to Europe usually around 3 to 5 days time except EMS service.

I was thinking the same thing as Teddy was thinking. Toss in a free case for me, pay me a few bucks for reshipping + cost of usps fees, I'll be your shipper. Hell, I have nothing better to do since I'm unemployed. Any few bucks would mean a lot to me at this point since I can't find work.. I'm reliable and I used to work for the post office! (they laid me off as a full timer..go figure..)

So how about it Steve? Bulk ship your orders from China to me (in az) and I'll reship those suckers all over the place. DHL is waaaaay to expensive to ship like this , especially for a 33$ case. I can see why you want to use DHL or a big shipper like fedex/ups, for the actually nmts.. but parts? meh! usps + certified inside the us - cheap as possible (under 2lbs priority..) easy peasy..

But, I will say this, 32$ isn't bad for a case..if you are interested, just pm me..

is this a joke? cost - 32.99$, shipping cost 49$.
the aluminum case is very light and not very big, I shipped bigger and heavier things in considerably less, so either you are making money out of the delivery also, or the courier is ripping you off.

The problem is different for Europe (excluding UK maybe)

Popcorn Hour A-210: United states with shipping = $220
store in Belgium = €250 ($366 :huh

Popcorn Hour A-200 in Belgium store : €200
Chassis Upgrade Kit with shipping = $65 (€44)

The shipping is too expensive.
But in the end, upgrate kit + shipping + A-200 (from a shop) cost me the same price as a new A-210.

It is a good offer for me.
