Added manual setting of YCbCr colorspace (BT.601 and BT.709). Auto colorspace is under development.

It is really there for testing and personal settings presently. An auto feature so it changes according to the video resolution will come in the next firmware release.

I want to use te receiver for video upscaling, for this reason I asked. I tried several combinations but each time C200 output was 1080p.

One more request for YCbCr 4:2:2 output. It's what works best with my display (4:4:4 drops a lot of high frequency detail on my display based on test patterns, and RGB causes double colorspace conversions, which also results in color detail being lost at the high end).

No complaints with this firmware so far though. Thanks for the update.

Bummer update scan problem not fixed...in some ways it is even worse now. Back to YAMJ...maybe next year it will finally get fixed.

When going into view mode "by category" or "list" (not wall), the first rendering of the screen is ok, but if you start scrolling to the left or right into new categories, all titles show the default icon. However if you start scrolling up or down the movies in a specific category, the art work starts to appear eventually.

I have 1000+ mkv and isos on remote NAS. Maybe it's a timeout issue with the rendering of the artwork.

I've had this issue since the previous fw... so it is NOT new. It started with the introduction of the new method of poster prebuffering to speed up NMJ wall display... but it also caused to spoil the wall at "by category", etc.

WD box by default has a DB for all files coming from all attached and internal HDD, why can't the POPCORN HOUR do that???

If for some crazy reason a USB device does not show up the WD re-creates a new DB......By default.......

Listen, I see all you guys talk about all the things the POPCORN HOUR does not do, I have only one complaint is about the one DB for all content.....This should be a default, who does not want to see all there Movie, TV, whatever files all in alphabetical order????

The POPCORN HOUR is bottom line the best Multi-Media player I have ever tested, period, except for this one crazy thing, everthing going into it has a different DB........

Sorry for the rant, but I LOVE my Popcorn C-200, I just would hope that this issue would be a priority soon!!!!!!!

I just read in the release notes there was a fix for 3D output. So I have 2 questions,
Will the C200 playback 3D content?
Is there a thread on this, I did some searching but could not find anything.

I'm having trouble with 3D content with my C-200.

Previously, I had my C-200 connected to my TV from Samsung 3D Plasma 50" C-7000; 3D running videos without any problem (Samsung recognizes that this start is 3D and 3D mode)

Now, I bought a Pioneer Elite receiver VSX-32 (using HDMI 1.4 cables + HEC-ARC), the TV does not recognize the 3D mode (which sucks for those who use subs. srt).

Note: When I set up at 1080i 60HZ (only) Popcorn C-200, the VSX-32 allows 'partial' pass for 3D TV (low image quality), which in turn recognizes the 3D mode. When I stop the video file, the 3D mode on the TV stays on .... (C200's menu is in Side-By-Side ....)

I ask your help to solve this problem.

Have them on an HDD USB connected to the C200, but even with new firmware, it's impossible to play the film. The C200 stops before opening menu and freezes. An hard reset is needed to restart C200.

I have Tron Legacy on BDMV and located on a USB attached HD.

Works fine over here. Menus, Previews, Special Features all work a-ok.

my c200 was updating fine untill programming firmware stopped at 11%
the wheel beside the updating is going round but the % is not its been this way for 10 mins ?!?!?
