did you check themoviedb to make sure it has the imdb# for it? it's a user maintained site you can edit the movies there to add/change it if wrong

@accident, yes. Yesterday I registered at TheMovieDB and checked the IMDb IDs and they were correct. Maybe I need to use the entire URL in the .nfo file and not only the ID? Should there be a carriage return at the end of the line?

I ran a couple of tests, and it seems that you need to put the entire URL of IMDb in the .nfo file. I tested it a couple of times and it seems to work.
