Popcorn Hour A-210 doesn't show sub / idx subtitles created by 3D subtitler
Hello all,
I'm using 3D subtitler (Latest version 2.7.0.1) to convert srt files to sub / idx. I can see the subtitles perfectly when watching the movie on my computer (Using BSPlayer) but when I start it up from my Popcorn hour A-210 I can't see the subtitles. I've trying several setting in 3D Subtitler but without a success. Anyone knows what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it? Thank you very much! |

For a start are the sub/idx High Resolution, if so they don't work and you'll need to use the likes of BDsup2sup to change to SD sub/idx.
With regards 3D subtitles to coin a phrase 'I know nothing'. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

RE: Popcorn Hour A-210 doesn't show sub / idx subtitles created by 3D subtitler
Well, I'm creating the sub/idx files using the 3D subtitler program and as you can see in the image attached, I can choose the resolution and other features to the output sub/idx files.
I've tried every possible option (High resolution, Low resolution, 1080P, 720P, positioning and others) but without a success. When using 720p option or low quality output option I manage to see some white lines in the top left corner when the subtitles suppose to appear. What else can I do? Thank you. Ignore the red marking it's the only updated image I could find ![]() |

Looks like the output size is only 720p or 1080p, both are HD and wont play.

Actually, I took sub/idx files from a TV show that I know that the popcorn hour a-210 can show (cause I can see them when I watch the TV show) and put them in the 3D movie folder and now I can see some white lines when the subtitles suppose to appear. So, if these sub/idx files are showing in the TV show, why aren't they appear properly in the 3D movie? Thank you. |

I just saw your remark about BDsup2sup and I will test it when I get home. Beside that, I read that Popcorn Hour A-210 can convert srt file automatically to 3D format so I'll check this approach too. Thank you very much! I'll update soon. |

Ok, I resolved this issue.
You need to use BDSup2Sub to convert the sub/idx files generated by 3D Subtitler to NTSC or PAL resolution. Thank you for your help. |
