MKV File no Audio at all??

[Racer16]

So i tried playing a mkv file on my a110 today and it didnt playback the audio any reason why it wouldnt??check file on pc plays back fine audio and all.Does pch not support the audio from a mkv file???any help of info on this would be great.

I just performed 2 updates to the unit.Gonna try it now see if it's fixed.In the mean time here is the media info.

post a mediainfo output and make sure you are on most recent firmware. mkv is just a container we have to know whats inside to know if its supported or not.

Edited and updated.Just tried after updates.Still no sound perhaps the DTS Audio codec is not supported???Also to add pch is hooked up to tv using HDMI Cable.

Yeah I just figured it out. DTS is now set to PCM and audio works fine.Thank you.While im here any idea on how I can add subs to a mkv file???There is already english sparnish and french subs in this file.However I want to add one more sets of subs???I have tried mkvmerge with no success.

hye all.. i got similar problem..

i just download anime movie.. the file is mkv.. and the audio format is AAC (LC).. when i plat ay my bluray player using protable hard disk no sound at all..

by the way.. i got another mkv file with audio format is mpeg audio (mp3) (V2).. the sound appear..

so the problem only file with aac (lc) audio format.

Any advice guys? (sry for my english)

Same here: MKV with AVC video and AAC audio. Got video but no sound.
