Menus in Iron Man 2 works fine for me. Maybe your rip is bad.

Also, in my experince turning picture in picture(PiP) on makes BD menus work on some discs.

Truly an excellent firmware update. Got no problems whatsoever. 2 best things:
- Eversion YAMJ now works with all image rips (!)
- Component (auto) color mode (!)

Works perfectly, and the interface seems faster, and the time to find UPNP devices seems much improved.

Any idea when the audio issues with apps is going to be fixed? as still have issues with audio on iplayer - AAC set to downmix as AVR does not decode it, but again audio only comes through some times

We also need an option to set what the home page is - it seems to default to the first network share at present, but i want to be able to select swiss center instead.

As for the new interface it would be much better if the user could define their own menus so we can have a list of all the things we want to use for example Apps, media servers and local media all in one menu.

e.g. i use iplayer, swisscenter, and the local HD the most so i would like to be able to have quick links to these without needing to go in and out of the different source menues

If you have an AVR attached via optical/coax directly from the A200/A210 then you have to set HDMI Audio to OFF to test. I am uncertain if the A200 passes audio streams SIMULTANEOUSLY to both HDMI and Optical/Spdif ports.

Thanks, got it to work! I have "Simple BD only" set in my navigation, and in that mode, looks like you have to explicitly select the core track by hitting "Title", choosing "Audio" and scrolling down. If the navigation is set to "AVCHD+SimpleBD", the PCH activates the core and sends it out via s/pdif without needing to explicitly select it.

The reason I have to have "SimpleBD only" is that I haven't figured out a way to choose external (srt) subtitles on a AVCHD blu-ray rip. In simplebd only mode, the "Title" key always takes me to the PCH menu to choose audio/subtitles/etc, and sure enough I can choose the external subs from there. However, if I have "AVCHD+SimpleBD", then for AVCHD blu-rays, the title key takes me to the actual on-disk AVCHD menu, and I can't choose the external subs.

Is this a known issue? Is there a way to bypass the AVCHD menu that I'm not aware of?

I can confirm this bug. This happened to me several times and I ended up thinking there is a networking problem. Now I am guessing it is a popcorn problem. I tried skipping to about 50% and sound was going on ok but video stopped updating.

Dont post in what you know is the wrong place in future please.

On the HDD why get a 3.5" HDD that is only 160Gb. Get a 2.5" HDD instead. Look for a HDD that is 5400-5900RPM as there's no need for anymore. Most HDD's work, only Toshiba has problems in 2.5" HDD.

I tried updating online and got ERR015, so I downloaded the package for an offline update, only when trying to unzip it failed saying the .bin is corrupted.

both match error 15 means it did not pass crc so either the zip is corrupted on the server or your internet is having problems downloading it.

I doubt it my internet was my problem since the online update failed like a week ago, but I don't know...

In the settings I have changed the workgroup name from WORKGROUP to MSHOME. But strangely it is still in WORKGROUP. I have not had this issue in previous firmware. New bug?
