Waiting is a complete waste of time. My A200 is now resting peacefully on the same shelf as my A100. I have moved on and won't be looking back. And before all you Popcorn worshiping, diehard's jump all over me for speaking my mind, save it. I may not post a lot, but i have been on the forum since my A100 and I have read a lot. There were definitely firmware versions that worked better than others, but for the past year + my A200 was an unreliable piece of garbage. I was constantly having to reboot to get it to recognize my NAS, sometimes it would find sometimes not. And it was not my network as nothing else gave the same issues. I can take another media device, plug it into the same ethernet cable and it just works...always. Sometimes the A200 connection would work...sort of; it would connect, see the files, but not play them without stuttering.

I am technical, I don't mind products that need some tinkering to get them going, but this is on a whole other level. Just plain unreliable. Now that I have experienced other players, I think it is way over promised and under delivered.

^^ as long as you tried its all good. there is always a product that can work better for someone elses setup. I myself still chew through players although pch is my main players I always try new brands to see if something is better or i think works better for my setup so far have not found anything yet.

I've got the A-200 since 2010 (i guess) and works smooth since then! i had network problems to in the beginning! My Ubuntu server, which stores the entertainment, was often not found..reboot did the job...just like you said..my solution was to alter the samba config file.

First i noticed that when i used my Windows 7 PC first and then turned on the Ubuntu server, the A200 didn't find my Ubuntu shares. When i googled it, it found out that the A200 search for the master browser. In this case it was my Windows 7 PC! I altered the samba config file that, that server is always master browser en set permissions on share level! since then it worked like a charm!

For the firmware, i only want new firmware to notice that there still developing, i don't need it for any problems i have!

@OMG and Halfelite, Guess you guys have lots of money to try different players, just to see if it works better then the the PCH

From day one mine has been brilliant your set up mate. synology Nas stream full blu-ray perfect and flac music with squeezebox.

Lol it doesn't take that much money. If its on amazon I return it within the 30 days if im not happy and if I did not buy it on amazon it goes up on ebay the second I dont like it. usually get close to retail price back. so its money out money in. i dont keep them if im not satisfied

I wouldn't mind the lack of updates if the devise was perfect and has nothing to improve, but its far from that state .. Will the support for A200 continue?

i guess we have to wait another 5-6 weeks to have a final FW for c200 and than add 5-6 weeks for a A200/210 FW
or add some weeks more...

I cant seem to get the firmware for nmt app install,as my download times out both on this forum and from syabas homepage for firmware downoad. Even my PCH cant get the firmware,as it either times out,or speed is as low as 3kbps

Anyone have same problem?
