Exactly, Probably 1/3 of the posts are "when is the next FW". If you looking for info on this FW you have to read through tons of posts that are useless.

If you want to post about a new FW start a new thread so we don't have to keep reading about it.

And this FW contained only new BD keys. The actual firmware before this one was relased almost a YEAR ago. I give up on Syabas' product support. Same shit, different company.

Syabas has stopped communication regarding the future of C-200 in general, firmware or as NMJ-V2 for this plattform.

Or whatever it is to renew the license?

I know the 300 series probably took priority in attention but it has been since June that the c-200 was updated.

Why are you beliving Dune?! If you belive them, the device is already sold! But it isn't!
They said on the german IFA 2011 that the Dune HD Pro will be available in december 2011....so please inform yourself before you say that this company is so much better.

Andy why should Dune be the first selling 8910 Chips? They even have not a Player with the latest 8647 Chip!

A firmware now with some bugfixes, would increase sales of the c-300 because of reselling the "old" C-200. Owners of the C-200 are not buying the C-300 because they are pissed-off and new potential users willing to buy a second hand C-200 won't do it because of lack of support.

Either does syabas does "not get it" or the development team is ... one single guy. I hope It's the later because it can be fixed!!!

(witch a pinch of sarcasm, yes you guessed it right, I'm .. ehhh .. was a C-200 user. Now my media player has a different chip inside, wich I sincerely regret!)

I'm sorry if this seems dense but does anyone know if the c200 is still being supported or not? despite a few lock up problems I have mainly been happy with it but if support has been withdrawn then it would be good to know for definite ( please no speculation just a yes or no to support ) thanks

The last I heard a beta c-200 firmware was scrapped due to QA issues. Is there any update to this from Werner or any of the beta testers?

why believe dune ?
1 they never sayd the dune has 1 gb network they sayd it was experimental
2 sabyas still advertise with 1 gb network on the c-200
looks like a lie to me
3 dune has a dune pro on CES with the 8910 chip
4 why should be dune NOT the first with that chip ?
5 why a player with 8647 chip ? a step right to the 8910 is a far greater improvement and is strategicley maybe better then a 8642/8643 8646/8647 and then 8910
then u can put more effort in the real leaps

c-200 is a greay device but its been sold with false promises lots of bugs and even more wurse with very bad support
