Not mine Sheesh, you call yourself an early adopter, but after almost 4 years when the HD-DVD vs BD war ended, you still don't own a BD player? I agree that 3D has had a difficult start, but it doesn't look like it will go away anytime soon. The price difference between 2D and 3D TVs is not that big anymore. Even mid range TVs are starting to come standard in 3D. The 3D BD titles are rapidly increasing and consumers can buy more and more devices to create their own 3D content. Hell, even an affordable phone like the SE Experia Mini can shoot 3D panorama photos. When you spend some more money you can buy a LG or HTC phone that has two lenses to shoot 3D photos and video. More and more niche products like helmet cams are also going 3D: http://gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/3d-hero-system/ Being a true early adopter means you will risk buying products that will never make it into the mainstream (Laserdisc anyone?) and that you pay ridiculous prices, as products haven't hit mass production levels yet. So according to my definition you completely fail as an early adopter. |
