No more worries, except waiting for shipping of the A-300 to me.. Unfortunately, you'll probably find that the A-300 has all of the bugs that the C-200 still has plus a whole new set related to the NMJ interface, which is now the only interface. I still have my A-300 boxed up. I pulled it out for the latest firmware upgrade and, afterward, still saw the same problems that originally drove me back to my C-200 so I put it back in the box. I've been using these PH players since the A-100 and from that pretty good unit to the latest of the series, the complexity of the hardware has risen and the quality of the firmware has fallen. My A-300 will be my last Syabas product and the way things are currently, I will probably leave it in the box and not replace my C-200 with it. The C-200, even with the existing bugs, works better for me than the A-300 does. Syabase can't seem to do firmware very well. They can barely do a slap-dash UI. If the Sigma SDK wasn't doing the heavy lifting, the Popcorn Hour series would have probably never seen the light of day. Robert C-200, Dune Smart D1 → Denon AVR-3310CI → 55" Samsung UN55C8000 (3D) Custom 56 TB (2@28) unRAID NAS serving SD, BD, FLAC, MP4, etc. |
