Hello,
I have converted a bunch of DVD's to mkv files with handbrake. I have tried to use forced subs but they don't work on a A-210. What is the best option to rip the subtitles ? Must I use str files or idx/sub ? John Popcorn Hour A-210 user. |

Forced subtitles do work on the A210 I know as I created MKV's with forced subtitles from my Bluray LOTR set. sub9 for UK owners by the way.
Anyway back on topic I used BDClown to extract the required video, audio and subtitles tracks. I then muxed them into an MKV making sure to add that the subtitles were forced. Then on playback with no subtitles selected when required subtitles were displayed at the correct time. Make sure your subtitle track has been added correctly and is marked as forced. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
