C-200 Power button flashing red / white
Hi,
My C-200 just stopped and the power button is flashing red / white. Is it a dead PSU? It did this a few weeks ago, but then somehow came back after opening / closing the front hd door (possible just a fluke). Is this a known problem with the C-200's? |

RE: C-200 Power button flashing red / white
What do you expect PCH support to do for you if you need a replacement PSU. It's simply a case of ordering one if outside of your warranty period or getting one sent by creating a RMA ticket if outside of warranty.
The PSU failing seems to be the number one issue with the C200. With the A100 it was the NIC with the C200 its the PSU. It's always going to be something, the important point is that the quality of the replacements is better and that it does not require you to have to send off your unit and is relatively inexpensive. Installing is a piece of cake. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |

just a bit disappointing it failing just outside the warranty period, for what seems to be a manufacturing defect.
$30 for postage of a small item seems a bit ridiculous. Plus adding more items like a wifi, or remote just seeems to almost double the delivery. Appears like they're making money off the delivery charge. |

Thats why its so expensive. before people hated the slow delivery times of the cheap options so they changed and now people hate the price you just cant win. |

RE: C-200 Power button flashing red / white
Hi...
I came back after a 2 week holiday and we'd had a power cut. My HDD seems like it's finished as it's making grinding noises, but any other hdd's I put in the popcorn don't get recognised. Popcorn gets stuck in bootup. If I pull hdd, power button then flashes red/white. If I put a usb stick in the c-200 it boots fine and allows me to format. Does this sound like a psu issue too? |

RE: C-200 Power button flashing red / white
I got a replacement one a long time ago. I've always had to hold the button down (with the replacement psu) for like 5-10 seconds before it changes to the correct color.
PCH C-200 500GB 2.5 HDD + CH08LS10-> HDMI -> Onkyo 607 -> Samsung LNT-5271F -> Harmony 880 Movies served from DNS-323 Using SMB and USB Hard Drive Enclosure Connected to PCH |
