Thanks for the help! I tried uninstalling it then removing the repo in CSI and installed it again. Unfortunately I still have the same error. I noticed a slight change in the .daemonresult file on the first run though.

First run:

When I restarted it again, I got the same .daemonresult I have been getting.

As for couchpotato, did you give it a few seconds to start? PCH-IP:5000

I did that but I get the same error.

Tried to install CouchPotato on my other PCH and same thing.

Is there a log somewhere that I can view. Where is this .daemonresult log at?

So let me get this straight, I did install "local", but when I go to the web interface :9999/local_web/ nothing is installed, do I need to install anything from that manually? I know this thing is written in python so I did install that on one of my PCHs but I didn't bother on the second one thinking that your script was going to install what it needed and what not.

This folder should be on the root of your hard disk, are you sure you have setup your PCH right?
Ive changed the folder now if you wish to give it another try.

vertigo235, i have ran through the setup with no problems on my A110.
The script will install all it needs from the local(ipkg) package.
I will try to fix your problem once i can get the same error.

I've just installed SickBeard and did the setup on my A110, (blackhole to NZB dir, adding shows etc)
tonight it should get a few of my shows, i'll try to report back if it worked or not.


It is my first experience with SB, even tough i've heard a lot about it.
Lets see if it lives up to its legendary status


My first experience is that even tough it looks very nice,
its responsiveness seems similar than NMTDVR (i've got that one set up for nzb now)
that even tough it has more features.
Lets wait for tomorow and see if it actually got the shows

NMTDVR was my fav nzb downloader, i have fixed a few bugs and released the RC2 but as no one else is updating it(auther has gone) and eventualy it will become unusable, thats why i changed over to CP and SB.

SB will get all your shows and it will also download a propper if the first one has problems (nuked ect) NMTDVR didn't do this. I have been using SB for around 6 months now and it has never missed a show yet (as long as it's configured right)

I have my tv shows on PCH hard drive and movies on my NAS, I have configured both CP and SB to rename and move the files to the right location, it could then (if you use it) tell NMJ that you have new stuff and start a new scan to update your jukebox.

I forgot to add that the built in update should work for all PCH's.

It's up and running now! I did an uninstall and then re-installed it and it started working. I did not have a Download directory on my PCH so it looks like that was the issue. Adding in my existing shows now, thanks for the help!

vertigo235, what other apps do you have installed? one of these might be conflicting with the install.
Do you get the same with the other app (couchpotato/sickbeard)
Also do you have telnet installed as this may help in tracking down the problem.

I do have telnet installed. How can I use that?

I am thinking of doing a full reformat and fresh install on one of may a110s but I would hate to need to do that.

Couchpotato installs, but doesn't seem to do anything.

I did not have any problems during install, everything went just fine.

the last few hours it has been working on updating all the data for all my shows,
i guess once the first big scraping is done it won't take that long anymore

OK, I'm going to do a deep clean reinstall on my secondary a110 and see if that helps

I really want to get sickbeard working, I'm a big fan of it

What firmware are you using, i have been using the latest firmware for my A110. Other then that i cant think why its not working for you.

Don't format just yet, ive been reading up on that error and i may now be able to fix it, for some reason some PCH cant handle tars made from windows programs, i have used the one they suggested and have re-done couchpotato and sickbeard in the new program.

If you could try 1 more time and let me know.
