jhmiller, what is the command to manually stop couchpotato via putty?

Somehow my CP stopped working, I tried to stop it using the CSI but it just loading forever.

i opened the CSI installer. And i see there is an update for "Local". Installed now: local 0.1.8-nmt1. And there is an update:local 0.1.8-nmt2
Is it save to update or not?

When you were doing the update, did you loose internet connection or anything else that may of effected the download?

All NMT's apart from the A1xx's update via a program called git, the A1xx's use http. I myself have not had any issues with updates with either sickbeard or Couchpotato.

If you know how to use telnet, you can update using that by entering

Without any logs or more infomation, i am unable to suggest anything else.

Tried this command, seems like everything was updated but when opened CP, it still shows there is an update available, the same one.

Not sure why you are having problems, i have tried installing twice to my A110 and updating both times with no issues.

Pierskw, You can update with no problems, local provides other apps and as such does get updated evey now and then.

I just installed Sickbeard 1.0 on my new A300 and so far it's been working great, except for NMJ notifications. When I try to enable them under config->notifications, I can't automatically get the settings from the Popcorn Hour. This is, when I enter my IP adress and press "get settings", I get a "failed" error. The logfile says: "2012-04-12 16:11:28.460209 CP Server Thread-6 :: Could not get current NMJ database on 192.168.137.108, NMJ is probably not running!". As of NMJ I have created my library, and seems to be working ok (I haven't done anything special about NMJ besides creating the library as my understanding is that it runs by default on the A300, right?).


Has anyone been able to run this on the A300? Is there anything special I should be running to get this working? Unfortuntaly as there is no description under "NMJ Database" and "NMJ Mount URL" fields I don't know how to complete those fields manually.

I have never used it as i don't use NMJ but as its running on the PCH i would try entering 127.0.0.1 or localhost in the address box and then click "Get Settings" box to see what happens.

I'm sorry i can't offer much more help, might just have to keep trying things untill some one else who uses it can provide more info.

127.0.0.1 is the ip of localhost, not 0.0.0.0

Yep sorry, been playing with SAB all day and it listens to 0.0.0.0

that's different, that's what ip to bind too and 0.0.0.0 means everything

Yep, i know but been looking at SAB's install and start up file all day and sab needs 0.0.0.0 set in configs to view over network, so i had that in my head when posted above, blonde moment over (i hope)

I know i does work as there are some posts on here some where from others that have used it but can not for the life of me remember what setting they used.

jhmiller, you are the man, looks like I finally got it working.

I could not get the "Get Settings" to work, but was able to configure it manually. I tried with http://127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.1 directly, and the IP of the PH, but none seemed to work automatically. I bet it must be something specific about the A300.

What I did was the following:

1. Following the thread you mentioned, I took the "url" field from http://PCH:8008/system?arg0=list_devices, which in my case was "/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/SATA_DISK".
2. As I knew my nmj database was located at nmj_database/media.db, I just threw "/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/SATA_DISK/nmj_database/media.db" to the "NMJ Database" field in Sickbeard, leaving "NMJ Mount URL" blank.
3. When pressing the "Test NMJ" button, now I get a "Successfull started the scan update" message. Everything seems to be working fine now.

BTW, and for the records, the screen capture in http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=50514 shows some more details for the "NMJ Database" and "NMJ Mount URL" fields that is not shown in the current version... so I think it makes a lot of sense to leave the second field blank.
