RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
seems like the latest update to CPv2 causes the NMT to partially crash. anyone else getting update issues? well it won't update past 30th june, every time I try the unit crashes and when I restart all movies to download are gone (partial settings lost..)

RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
The settings are stored in the same folder as the main program (/share/Apps/CouchpotatoV2)
As of the last update, this is no longer allowed Sad since my install does use this folder it should still run but give warning about this.

Your settings should still be there and should still be valid. I have no time to test right now but you could move them to another folder and change this line

Code:
python2.7 /share/Apps/CouchpotatoV2/CouchPotato.py --daemon --console_log --pid_file /share/Apps/CouchpotatoV2/couchpotato.pid --config_file /share/Apps/CouchpotatoV2/settings.conf  > /dev/null 2>&1

to match your new path.

I'm not shure where is best to put this file but am thinking that i will use somwhere in /share/Apps/local as this should be install for these python apps to work.

after changing --config_file /share/Apps/CouchpotatoV2/settings.conf to a new path, run cpv2 and it will make the files needed and you can just copy over the same files from a backup of what was in the Apps folder, do a back up first as i dont know if it will wipe old configs when a new location is added.

RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
The above issue has been fixed. I have re-written the daemon.sh and have also added a setup.sh.

The setup.sh deals solely with the install and the daemon.sh with the startup/shutdown of CPv2. I have done it this way to allow for the above error.
It will now use CP-Settings folder to store all settings when doing a clean install and will move the files/folders for those who alreay have it installed. This should fix the above error and allow updates to continue.

I would suggest, if you have CPv2 installed to re-install(no need to uninstall) from csi to have it update its folders and new locations. I have tested a few installs and upgrades and all went fine but to be on the safe side, backup you CPv2 folder first.

As allways, any problems, let me know.

Miller

RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
There seams to be a few bugs with updates ATM
https://github.com/RuudBurger/CouchPotat...issues/543

CP does do a few updates then for a unknown reason stop. You can update by just reinstalling from CSI.

RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
Thanks.

Ok, do I lose everything if I reinstall it from CSI?
How can I save the queue I have in my CP and later transfer it to the new installation?

Should I uninstall existing CP first and then reinstall it or can I just run install?
I think I'm still on old version.

RE: CouchPotato/SickBeard
The version does not matter unless your on CPv1 as it wont update CPv1 to CPv2

As your on CPv2 your ok just to install over the top of the old install. The script SHOULD move all data(settings) to a new folder and update to latest version. I would backup your folder to your pc first just incase.

I thought that ment you were on v2

You can try out v2 if you want, it will allow you to import you v1 database.

Then you can uninstall v1
