Wifi Dongle no connection

hi there! my friend has a question, he bought the WN-150 USB dongle for the Popcorn Hour A210. he has a Dlink Wireless G DIR-300.

but when he tried to connect using the wireless dongle it would say that it is connected then it would not then it be connected again and so on.
what seems to be the problem with this one?

for me i had the dir-655 and so far its working. could it be the settings of his router?

It could be that he has the security settings wrong or that the chanel used is very busy where he is located.
Try changing the wireless channel on your router and also make sure that you try WPA2-AES as that seems the best protection vs. speed on the WN150/A200.

Ive had that problem with other devices in the past and found that I had too long of a security key. Everything was working fine. I turned my security settings up to max key length and found all my connections started doing what you described. Changed the settings back and was all good.
