Well, you don't need your jukebox up to date to watch a video right? Stuff I add I first watch from the nmt interface (not from the jukebox).

But if you want all your new content directly shown in your jukebox Oversight is the better pick I guess.

Well, it's easier if all is done automatically, I just find it not that easy to set-up. Vid's from my NAS don't get added to the jukebox. To much of a hassle.

I really pick YAMJ for it's easy to use set-up and useage. And secondly for the looks (but I think Oversight is working on that).

Ok, Ive to get back on my conclusion. I've said before that I'll go for YAMJ. After goofing arround for a whole day with YAMJ (get dutch translation and other skins) and not being satidfied I gave Oversight another try.

I got the NAS problem working and I must say. Oversight is better. As far as the looks, ok YAMJ is the winner, but for userfriendlyness I must say Oversight is the winner by far. And with th fanart included it looks good enough to me.

A BIG plus is the handling of the TV Shows. This is done so easy with Oversight ans such a hussle with YAMJ.

Anyway, I hope I didn't confuse you guys to much, But I stick with Oversight.

Oversight all the way for me.....if you have your network set up properly then it just works I find.
There are a few issues with movies that are not in imdb but they are usually easy to fix either with custom NFO files or just add them to imdb yourself.
The fact that it all runs on the NMT and does not require a PC is the big advantage for me.

Guys, yamj is not at all time consuming. For both jukeboxes once u set it up then... have a shortcut key on keyboard for yamj, so i just press and that's it. Hassle free. That argument is over.

Or create a scheduled task that runs the .bat file automatically every night to add things into the library. This works good for re-check when new episodes are missing videoimages. If not there, it will re-check every night.

But do you still need the PC on? .. I guess if it's on a NAS this would work.. but I don't think I'm technically skilled enough to schedule a .bat file.

I guess this is more than just how things look - skill level, hardware and time to implement also need to be taken into account.
