Cannot install Torrentwatch
I am trying to install Torrentwatch-X 0.8.0 on my HDX-1000 using the NMT Community Installer. However, the installation fails and I get the following error:
/opt/sybhttpd/localhost.drives/HARD_DISK/Apps/AppInit/appinit.cgi: line 1: cannot open /share/Apps//appinfo.json I get the same message when I install using the .zip file. Does anybody have a solution to this problem? |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
Try having a look at SickBeard (it now works for NMT),
install via CSI, make sure you have local/ipkg installed first My PCH-A110 Stats | Samsung LE32A656 | Logitech Z-2300 | Harmony One Oversight | |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
TWX 0.8.0 installs on my A-210 with no problem so I guess there are some broken paths for 100 series in the install script. But you can try to install TWX manually. For that first install "local" (needed to modify the built-in Apache web-server settings) and "telnetd" (needed to access PHC console) packages with CSI installer.
Then download the necessary ZIP from here: http://code.google.com/p/torrentwatch-x/downloads/list Unpack the ZIP contents using a universal archiver like 7zip into the /share/Apps/Torrentwatchx folder. There should be another archive (TAR) inside the ZIP but you actually need to unpack all those files and folders inside the second archive. Then connect to your PHC via telnet using PuTTY terminal client and execute the following commands: Code: cp /share/Apps/Torrentwatchx/php/config.php.dist /share/Apps/Torrentwatchx/php/config.phpNow connect to your PHC with CSI and you should see TorrentWatch-X in the list of installed apps. (Re)start it using appropriate buttons in CSI GUI. Now TWX should work. Warning: I don't actually have a PCH 100 device and cannot check if this actually works, but my experience tells me that it it should work. |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
Great, I'll try this as soon as I get the time. Is there any documentation on how the CSI is expecting software packages to be set up. I'm considering fixing whatever is broken in the package. (I work as a software engineer)

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
I'm looking into this. I don't know why this is happening. I don't own a PCH so I have no way of testing.
If anyone can get me more info on why the the wrong directory is called that would be much appreciated. |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
I can debug the CSI cgi script on my device, but I need some directions on how to run whatever command it is the CSI-app is executing to install in my shell.
Edit: Just found out a litte more myself by looking through the actual appinit.cgi script and running it. Code: Found hardware type: Syabas A/B typeIf god wanted eight regions, he would have made 8 planets. |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
I spent some time debugging appinit.cgi yesterday and found out that the untaring was unsuccessful. But then I ran my debugprint version of the script using the CSI and TorrentwatchX installed correctly(!). So I guess the tar must have been switched for a working version now.
It seems to be working now anyhow. Someone with a fresh A-100 system could perhaps verify? If god wanted eight regions, he would have made 8 planets. |

RE: Cannot install Torrentwatch
Ok, this should be fixed in 0.8.1 which is available in CSI.
It seems that some tar versions (FreeBSD's) are not supported by (some) PCH devices. |
