myihome is not working in OSX Lion

Well I changed my mind and rolled back to SL. Still getting caught up on my system setup, but now I have SMB back and I got everything working fine in terms of playing videos that are on my mac.

No need for DLNA or myihome or any of that.

One note, I did have to change the NMT's network setting to 10/100 instead of auto to get it to work.

Lion sucks.

I use the program Playback, working very well with streaming movie/music/photo.

I have just upgraded from OS X Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion OS X 10.8 and myihome has stopped working. I resisted the move to Lion so I have not come across the problem before. What are the alternatives to myihome to send video from my iMac to my Panasonic TV?

I'm running Mountain Lion 10.8.1 and was pleasantly surprised to find that MyiHome is working. I had held off upgrading for a long time since this is my single most used application.

There are alternatives such as SMB, NFS (never been able to figure this out completely) as well as PS3 media server and other streaming applications. None of these have matched the ease and speed of MyiHome for me. Happy to have it back.
