A small request (not firmware-related) regarding skinning
I just started to mod the default skin, and realized that there is alot of trial en error required - copy the skin to the PCH and reboot - move your graphics one pixel, copy and reboot again.. it takes alot of time.
I was hoping that the developers could provide a simple list with the exact coordinates for every image/element. That way, I could write a simple program for the PC that loads and emulates the skin, and displays it on screen just as it would look on the tv. I think that this would help alot of people with skinning the UI. What do you think? |

If you download Myihome and go into the skins folder you will find templates in HTML for the Myihome GUI, it is almost the same as the ordinary PCH GUI. That is what I used when making my own skin.
