RE: NMJ V2 update
Thats it I'm out too, just posted an auction on Ebay. You just lost another customer.
Been in this for three years, had my A210 for about 2 months. Installed XBMC and was wowed, it was easy straight forward and logical. Imagine that. All I can say is great hardware, its a real shame, I will newver use PCH again. |

RE: NMJ V2 update
I tried on my Mac, svn main nightly build of XBMC to blay Bluray isos, it does play them, but not with menues. Just the main movie and its playback was not smooth skipping to different parts of the movie. No chapter skips either. I tested Plex, and they have no plans to support Blu-ray ISOs with menues. Oh, but my Popcorn Hour C-200 plays Blu-ray ISO's just fine.

RE: NMJ V2 update
It's possbile to play BD Isos with Menu with XBMC, but it's not nearly as easy as with PCH
![]() With PCH you select "enter". That's it! With XBMC you have to use an external Player which supports BD Menu, and you need to mount the Iso File. That's unacceptable. And 24p TrueHD/DTS-HD causes maybe also Problems, did in the past, now I don't know. Picture: Epson TW3200 to 105" Screen NMT: C-300 Sound: Pioneer 921-> Klipsch RF82 | RC 62II | RW-12D | RB 61 BluRay: LG BD560 BEFORE asking anything about the A400 PLEASE read the Announcment and the FAQ. |

I dont use menus and bolloks like that. Why not keep it simple dude! My whole library was organised in 15 minutes without a single error. Including all my tvseries and documentries. All i know is ive had popcorn for 3 years and im so pissed i didnt try xbmc earlier. Painless. You guys keep twiddling with your popcorn so you can have bluray menus and play isos easily. I never understand why people have iso formats? Why not just an mkv file or am i missing something? |

RE: NMJ V2 update
Hmmm...after reading this thread, I am also now considering the switch to XBMC...
Is it possible to have multiple sources in 1 library with YAMJ on the PCH? |

RE: NMJ V2 update
I haven't seen anyone from Syabas say that we aren't getting NMJv2. I have seen posts about a new UI and we did reject the first one on the forum.
When are we getting these things is the damn problem!!! (09-04-2011 11:36 AM)djglenn Wrote: Hmmm...after reading this thread, I am also now considering the switch to XBMC... True...but it is relevant for some of the key features the current NMJ is lacking hence why some people look at other options. |

RE: NMJ V2 update
Then they can discuss it elsewhere and not in the NMJv2 thread can't they. Plenty of XBMC in Off-Topic section.

RE: NMJ V2 update
Many of us have been there and know that when it comes to PC's the grass is certainly not greener for those that require Bluray playback or HD Audio. Plus those low powered PC's have problems playing 1080p in the first place.
Please back on Topic, go and setup and discuss your PC's elsewhere than this thread, or even this forum. A400: SSD+SD Card(Apps), HDMI A300: USB(Apps), HDMI C200: USB(Apps), BD SH-B083L(SB01), HDMI CAT6 Wired Network: TV TX-P42G20, HP ProCurve 1400-8G, Netgear GS-608/605, Synology CS407 |
