SONY HDR-CX520VE + C200 issue: M2TS or MTS wont play

Like in the topic.
I am using C200 since 2010 together with my HD camera Sony HDR-CX520VE. Everything was fine till last 2 firmware updates (I guess). After those updates my M2TS files or MTS files (whatever I do to get the file from camera: using Sony software (M2TS) or just copy the file from internal memory card (MTS)) wont play. They show on the screen just for couple milliseconds and then I get a blank screen. All I can do is to push STOP button on my remote control and then I am going back to list view.

Conversion to MKV or other container is not an option for me.
I bought C200 for one purpose only - to play M2TS or MTS files from my HD camera.
Please help me with some sort of solution.

PS. I am using newest official firmware available 3 June 2011 with apps from the same day.
I always do an online update.

A quick google search tells you that the mts/m2ts files that the camera produces are raw files:-

Camera files generally need processing into a complete file structure, AVCHD or BDMV, or into a single container such as MKV.

However reading post 6 here:-

Shows that Sony cameras can output full AVCHD folders and therefore those will play fine. Make sure you attempt to play the whole folder and not just the one file. Navigation must be set to Full Navigation and press enter.

Well, I am sorry but you are wrong.
You did not read what I wrote: "It was working on previous firmwares".

I managed to do this by this approach:
1. I download recovery image for my image version which is available here: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=27395 ( Recovery if you are using firmware 03-04-110530-21-POP-408-000 or later )
2. I formatted the USB pendrive into FAT32 and copy the recovery-image.bin to it
3. I powered down the C200 unit
4. I used jumper to merge two pins according to screen in the wiki: http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wiki/i...very_C-200
5. I put the USB pendrive with the recovery firmware into the C200 USB unit port ( I used one in the front )
6. I started the C200 -> flashing recovery started...
7. When it finished to flash itself I powered down the C200 unit during the message "Reboot in 10 seconds"
8. Once again I started C200 unit and I did factory defaults
9. I installed NMT apps into USB pendrive formated as EXT3
10. My home-made movies works fine now: doesn't matter if they are copied by Sony software (M2TS) or by me using the internal memory card (MTS)

All you did was reflash the firmware.

In fact what you did is return to the factory settings.
Some of the 200 settings have strange side effects.

In my C200 it is the subtitile language setting on the preferences page that introduces a "blackout" bug.
The bug is that after playing any 24p movie, I get a black picture on any 50 or 60 Hz content like DVD rips.
A few frames will display, then black.

I advise you to write down all changes to the NMT settings, so you can track down the cause if it happens again.

May be MTS file damaged or corrupted, therefore you are having problem accessing mts or m2ts file. MTS repair software is best and most suitable option to repair corrupted mts file. It uses latest technology to repair corrupted mts file. It is capable to repair MTS file and can also repair different file formats.
