USB on Router as a source???
Hi!
So I bought a Netgear WNR3500L and boosted it with dd-wrt. Now I've connected a HDD to the router's USB. It's shared using SAMBA protocoll and I've got access to it from my PCH A-110. Now here's my question. What to type in the Media Sources in Oversight to get it to play with oversight? Here's my current syntax: /share/Video/Movies/- 0 - 9,/share/Video/Movies/- A B C,/share/Video/Movies/- D E F,/share/Video/Movies/- G H I,/share/Video/Movies/- J K L,/share/Video/Movies/- M N O,/share/Video/Movies/- P Q R,/share/Video/Movies/- S T U,/share/Video/Movies/- V W X,/share/Video/Movies/- Y Z,/share/Video/TV-Shows,/USB_DRIVE_A-1/Movies,/dd-wrt/- TV-series The "/dd-wrt/- TV-series" does not show after scan. :/ Yeah, it's anoying... The "/USB_DRIVE_A-1/Movies" works fine though. Network drives that you add in the PCH settings page are designated without the '/'
ie if is called dd-wrt in the PCH settings, just map the folders as 'dd-wrt/tv' 'dd-wrt/movies' or whatever the folders are called. that should make yours "dd-wrt/- TV-series" PCH-A110, Netgear Stora, HDMI>Sony TV via Onkyo Amp |
