Do you use 4k sector drives? Like the WD EARS.
Search this forum for issues and solutions. I can't help you about this, I don't use them.
Be sure to always use green (low power) drives and check the wiki for compatibility.

The first one was a WD 1.5TB EADS w/ 512b sectors and the second current one a 2TB EARS with 4kb sectors both are green drives.
