Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I should preface this post by letting you know I am not a skin designer and this is a skin I started simply for my own use. It began as a port of my half finished, modified for a scope screen Aeon skin but over time it slowly came to look much more like the default Eversion skin (probably due to my lack of creativity).

The main goals were:

Make a skin for 2.35:1 screen.
Show as much of the fanart as possible
Show as many actors as possible
Show as much plot outline as possible
Show posters on the movie details page
Do the above without the use of an info popup on the movie details page

I've used variables for color throughout the skin so you can easily change the color scheme in settings-default.xml (settings.xml). Also, if you don't want the thumb/poster overlays just delete the files from media\wall or media\movie

If you have been using a previous versions of this skin I'd suggest to delete the pfpscope eskin folder and start from scratch with this one as these has been quite a bit of file reorganization.

Very few people have a cinescope setup and most of them would be on a forum like avsforum

Is pfpscope still active and supported?

The author uses it and he's still around.. nothing really to support when only the author uses it and nobody asking or reporting anything with it.

Pretty much what Accident said. It's all I ever use. I have not made any changes to it for quite some time because it does what I want and this thread as seen very little interest.

I hope to return my attention to my PCH soon and will look into your skin then. I have a lot of acoustical measuring to do and then treatments after that. "It's never done."

I guess I am the 3rd. I have a 2.35:1 setup. CIH. No lense. I just invested in a A300 and YAMJ w eversion. I am going to try replacing the eversion stock skin with this skin.

I was also wondering if this skin is working with the latest YAMJ w eversion. I just got YAMJ w eversion working with Unraid and a A300?

yeah it will work on the latest.. pfp would be the one who needs tot ell you what zoom modes and how he goes in and out of them. the pch itself isn't really friendly to cinescope but it's usable.

Being new to yamj and eversion, I am not sure the exact procedure needed to install this skin. I don't see instructions in this thread. I see instructions in the evzap thread. Can I follow the same instructions as the evzap thread?
