C-200 crashes and malfuntioning related to HDMI connection
Hello
I Purchased my C200 in January and since then, it systematically has been failing and crashing after using it for a while (watching photos or videos), simply it collapsed and froze. Many times the only solution was to hit the poweroff button and recently mostly the times I had to unplug the HDD to let the device start again as it did not start otherwise (it stopped in the initial b&w popcorn hour picture or just black screen). Of course I tried everything with regards to updates, the infinity combination of a/v configurations, I tried all the file recoding possibilities and networks disabling, I tried to change the HDD with all the formatting possibilities (following customer support advice), I even desperately checked the power supply bearing in mind the possibility of an HDD magnetic blockage (surrealistic, I know) and it failed again and again in the same way….frozen and unable to restart until I took the device out, unplugged the HDD, restart the system apart and put it again in the living room… Yesterday I tried accidentally something new: remove the HDMI (by passing A/V just with 2 sad RCA cables)….it worked, worked and worked again, 3 hours in a row without a minimum instability… And, yes, I was using the HDMI delivered with the C-200. Cable or connection problem? |

RE: C-200 crashes and malfuntioning related to HDMI connection
Hello Ramon
Thanks for your suggestion. Yes I tried that and it did not worked neither. Once it blocked it used to get stuck during the start up regardless the way used to shut down (back power button, press&hold front button...) Anyway I finally sent it back to the customer service. No response so far. |
