Too high of a bitrate on internal HD?
I having issues with playing large .mkv files on my A-110. I have a 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 installed in it. Most lower bit rate files play fine but some of my larger ones play for 30-45 seconds or until the bit rate jumps up to around 30Mbps then it gets very choppy and wont recover until I stop and start it again.
Here is an example of the file Im trying to play Transformers: Dark of the Moon 2011 1080p Blu-ray Remux AVC TrueHD 7.1 - XXXXXXXXX VIDEO Format: AVC Type: progressive Resolution: 1920x1080 Bit rate: 27.67 Mbps Frame rate: 23.976 fps AUDIO 1 Format: TrueHD Channels: 7.1 Bit depth: 24 bits Sample rate: 48 kHz Bit rate: 4301 kbps Language: English AUDIO 2 Format: AC3 Channels: 5.1 Bit depth: 16 bits Sample rate: 48 kHz Bit rate: 640 kbps Language: English SUBTITLES Format: PGS (original) I just pulled the hard drive out and it passes all seagate test and rad a read test on HD tune it it was a steady at 115Mbps-130Mbps. If anyone knows what I can do to get these to work of if the A-110 is incapable of playing this high of bit rate let me know. |

RE: Too high of a bitrate on internal HD?
Again, I believe your hard drive is running too hot. Get a cool running 5400RPM "green" drive. or an external USB drive.
