PCH C200 Freezes regular
Hi, I have had my PCH C200 for well over 2 years. I have only (admittingly) just got round to using it properly with NMJ.

Which I think is awsome. I am no way an advanced user here.

I have an issue in that I can gaurantee that the unit will freeze. To the point that HOLDING the power button wont shut it down. So the only solution is to unplug the power all togeather.

Now this is annoying especially if you are trying to watch a film or download torrents on it, or worse, using the FTP.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this may be happening. Do they get too hot.

I have my surround sound unit on top of this, but they are in a small shelf space which is inset in the wall so it does get hot in that shelf.

My second thought.

I have recently started to look at making Android applications. then it occurred to me. Would the PCH be awsome running on Android.

So does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Cheers

The power supply? This is internal? What do I need to change it for?

RE: PCH C200 Freezes regular
2 things to try:

Next time, try to switch off the unit by pressing the powerbutton on the remote control followed by "delete".
It takes a few seconds, then it should switch off. (red powerbutton) This a safer way to switch off.

The only way I can freeze my C200 is by turning on the auto setting for network (Gigabit).
So, try to put it on "10/100"

AH. That might be it, it is currently set to auto.

I have tried both power and delete and I have also had success with power and red button.

Even holding down the power button on the front of the PCH doesn't do anything. Sometimes it will restart but never loads up. I left a whole day once just stuck on the PopCorn Hour loading screen.

Will try that.

thank you
