Too bad Adobe Flash if being phased out in favor of HTML 5 by almost everybody... guess it's hard to keep ahead of the curve.

Hopefully it's more reponsive than current NMJ on X-200 devices.

Flash hasnt been phased out yet and there has been no huge movements on the html5 front just a lot of talk. If html5 ever does push forward it wont be for another 2 years before flash is gone and by that time a new media player will be out. And nothing stops them from adding html5 support in the future if need be. its not like they are locked into flash only.

Looks like NMJv2 will not make C200 any more better. I doubt if C200 shall ever receive the same Fash UI like a300... and the file borwser...etc.
Am I right?

Looks great with this chip!
But if i read correctly the underlines... We will see an upgrade soon on the 200 series of the NMJ?
On this crisis period it will be great to maintain actual hardware till the release of a full 3D support.

Wouldn't surprise me.. This UI likely utilizes the new chipset on the A300. It would run much slower on the 200s.

Werner cannot answer this question for the moment but I really doubt Syabas can affort not to bring NMJ V2 to the 200-series.
Syabas's reputation is the long support for older model so they don't want to finish up being hated by all their supporters...

I just think the 200-serie will have to wait a bit like until december for example to give the A300 the advantage for a while

I am a bit confused now. How come that regular Bluray players like Panasonic can play 3D BD discs and the PCH cant? Is there such a difference?

FLASH or Android 2.3 and JAVA will be the next consumer choice in the mediaplayer market in the next couple of months...IMHO

android brings nothing to 100" screen you get apps but none are made for 100" screen. only thing that would be added is a browser app.

Interesting looking unit. Is the interface the same or similar in look and function to the "new" C200 NMJ V2? Very clean look to the screens etc.
This is what the C200 should have looked like from the start.
Will the product availability be any better than that for the C200? In US and Canada it is almost impossible to get any unless you mail order. Any retailer that carried them dropped them like a hot potato because they could not get enough stock on time. Very unreliable supply chain!

Great UI refresh. I'm happy to know that nothing from http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=52291 has been kept (community rulez, thx to Werner).
I find the "Thumbnail view mode" ingenious (just a little step, to simply display the summaries taken from our nfo's, so we can forget NMJ forever).

Now, i really hope, that syabas will port this update on C-200 and will not play the card of planned obsolescence.

Firmware feature wise it should be the same as C200
