got mine today even though i called dhl the other day to request delver for tomorrow instead of today cause i wasnt going to be home and they said no problem luckily my landlord got it

will probably not hook it up till tomorrow night

would one of the owners of this new player like to do a mini review so we have an idea of its capabilities. i.e br iso full menus. speed test of the gigabit connection, formats played, audio etc many thanks

PROs as of now:
- Everything the A200/A210/C200 can do, but roughly 30% faster.

As simple as it sounds.. that's pretty much what you get over the 200 series, and yes the A300 does have a "Full Navigation" option - but so does the A200/A210 assuming you are on the latest firmware. You will have to use unencrypted BD ISOs though, which shouldn't be a problem for 99% of people.

Just a heads up i posted this in the Firmware Thread but This morning I Formatted a 2 TB WD Black drive in the A-300 and it was stuck at 0% for 10-15 mins .. Then it jumped to 81% and finished ... So if you have that issue just let it do its thing : ) I was about to Pull the plug and start over

Hi guys,

I'm new to the PH family and plan on buying the A-300. I want to know if I have movie files on three seperate external HD(e.g. kids movies, DVD, and Bluray) will all the movies appear together under the movie category on the PH.

I am Still trying to Track this down but External USB hard drives that worked perfect in the C-200 playing back BD 1:1 Folders are extremely choppy and unplayable , Using full navigation ... Its not just the Menu but the movie

A different issue using full navigation in the Expendables (US Version) it tell me my region code Doesn't match the player , So i tried in AVCHD + Simple and it jumped right into a Special Feature of the Film and never play the Movie

The movies i tested were Fast Five a Universal film , The Kids are alright Another Universal one and a Disney movie .. So maybe its just those Notorious hard BD's but i hope it can get resolved because i like the Speed of the player and was hoping to use it over my C-200

I Of course will Test A Whole bunch : )

I already asked the question but it sounds I didn't get any answer (or I looked so bad I'll have to apologize a lonnnnnngg time)

is there a way to see all the content on the same NMT.
Scenario is :
Videos are on 2 places:
a. local HDD
b. a network share

Going to NMJ from local HDD show only its content, same for Network Share.

Is there a way to have only one NMJ with all my content ? (finally while going to watch a movie I don't care were it is store)

I think multiple locations for one database is planned for a future release, but is not there now.

Does it reproduce correctly 24bit/96KHz or 24bit/192KHz FLACs? Or does it down-sample them?
