Am I wrong or (again) there is no video passtrough (or source direct, if you like name it so)? It had been promised months ago for C-200. (Many owners have an external videoprocessor, do you know?)

Also there is no support to 3 TB hard disks (promised....etc. etc. for C-200).

My mistake or in a near future do you insert these features only in C-200 and not in this new A-300?

Looks like NMJv2 will not make C200 any more better. I doubt if C200 shall ever receive the same Fash UI like a300... and the file borwser...etc.
Am I right?

Indeed :9 And 'true' gigabit ethernet, so what we were sold with our x200 models was 'false' gigabit then, seeing as it never worked? And NMJ was a 'beta' too?

syabas have given me no good reason to spend another £210+ on one of their products, once my A210 dies I'll probably just get a revo which costs less and does more. Meh.

The GIGE was all a sigma fault they said they could deliver gige on the 8643 chipset then later after it was on the market said whelp we cant and removed gig-e from the pdf files for the 8643.

In the picture of specifications on the first page, the Decoder section has been duplicated.

Does this NMJ correctly pull art the same way YAMJ does?

Basically, will my currently directory paths just "work" with it?

HDMI 1.4 does not = 3d support there need to be a chipset to handle full 3d support. Even if it had 1.4 it still wouldnt do full 3d bluray. hdmi version has no relation to 3d. You could have hdmi 1.3a and still have full 3d bluray if the chipset inside can handle it. Would be a waste to have the cost of hdmi 1.4 over 1.3a for no benefit.

This is only about the A300 if there was to be a hot swap able case it would be the c300 which no word yet if there will be one.

RE: [5 October 2011] A-300 Announcement, Specifications, Screenshots, UI Presentation
I know HDMI 1.4 supports pass-through and it's nice to not have to turn on my entire theater system just to see something on the display as all my current devices support this feature using 1.4 except the popcorn hour C-200. I know there is more to HDMI 1.4 besides 3D, however the lack of 3D will be an issue for people whether Syabas wants to deal with it or not. Whenever paying customers express their frustration, manufacturers always get defensive and come up with excuses on why they are behind the curve and ultimately blame the customers that want to embrace the features that could make them money.

RE: [5 October 2011] A-300 Announcement, Specifications, Screenshots, UI Presentation
there is no chip to do full bluray. The sigma8910 is supposed to but its vaporware as of now. And 3d is still a fad 3d tv sales never boomed like they thought. Everyone is dropping 3d channels. Only one trying to push 3d still is hollywood and hard to say how long that will last. So I would not call it behind the curve price of 3d is still high might make pch lose more business for people not wanting to pay the higher price for it then the few that do want to pay for it. There is always two sides for gimmicks like 3d

what would be the benefit benefit from a300 over the a210 i know one thing that it has the new chip but what does that mean for me..i havnt read through the thread yet

is it worth be going through the hassle for sending the a-210 back to amazon and wait for this?
