egreat m34a picture interference help

my m34a has developed a constant problem with interference on screen i have tried changing tv's and set up's cables but still the problem persists. i get waves of lines moving around and even though everything plays fine the lines are there moving around on top of the picture. as its very annoying and constantly there does anyone have any experience with this. i am in the uk and maybee the power supply could be the problem. but maybee just the m34a unit is showing signs of age.

any one with experience on this i doubt there is anywhere in the uk i could get it repaired as i bought it from china

For what it's worth I had the exact same issue with an M31-A, suddenly started getting lots of interference, and in my case it was the power supply. I got mine from an ebay vendor in China and was fortunate enough that he was happy to replace the Power Supply. About 12 months later that second power supply stopped working completely, and I couldn't find anyone to repair or replace it, so I bought a cheap secondhand M34a.

I'm at work but from memory one of the benefits of the M34A over the M31A is that it has a standard power jack (The M31A was a 4-pin miniDIN, iirc) - so you might be able to find a replacement unit (not specifically for an NMT) with the same specs.

yeah just checked my ebay account i bought it on 25/8/09 from hong kong and have read on the forums the power supply have been known to go faulty about one and a a half years after use. but cant really tell will have a look for a suitable replacement psu
