Movie names showing up in French
Hi all, I just installed UMC version 2.1.1 and it's working pretty well. There are some movies though for which the scraper couldn't find the information on imdb. When I looked more closely via Fix Incorrect movie, I realized that the scraper search was returning the movie names in french in many cases.

I am located in France but I want to use the original movie names. I saw that YAMJ had a setting to get around this (imdb.site=labs) so I bet there should be a way to do something similar in UMC, can anyone help?

Many thanks!

Glad to hear that everything is more or less working. You are free to give us a message about which movies did not get correctly identified, so we can have a look if we can improve our detection algorithm.

Hrmmm... we also have a workaround for that, which involves searching for the "original title" reference on an IMDB page; but this apparently does not seem to work for you.

Have you enabled the cache? (it is on by default) -- can you please send me (crisp at umc-project dot de) a few examples of movies that did not work + the "tt1234567.html" file inside the "cache/imdb/YY/moviedetails" which corresponds to these movies? (1234567 has to be replaced with the actual IMDB ID, and YY with the primary scraper language that you configured). This basically sends me the entire IMDB page as you see it from your geographical location (stored in your local cache). That will allow us to check why our GeoIP circumvention code is not working Smile.

Thanks & BR,

Crisp
