I take it all back - I've entered half a dozen Sopcasts for a certain big footy game this afternoon and they all work. Excellent! - far more enjoyable to watch on my 47" telly than my PC.

I than saved that in file let's say 123.html and uploaded it to my website.

Turn on that CSI program and added a web program with name 123 and linked to the mysite.com/123.html and it worked...

finally got the time to sort this out... and it works a treat!!! Thanks for getting sopcast back on my PCH!!!

The only thing I hope is that the people who stream the channels, will work on the quality of the stream. Checked one of the NVS channels this weekend and after 10 secs the images got bad to worse and finally froze and timed out (i was taken back to my page automatically). After that I was not able to get back to the channel.

This time I was checking a different match as the one of my team (went to the stadium last night and we won 2-1, after 14 matches without win) but one time i also got audio only and after refresh, nothing anymore.

Conclusion: Sopcast is not stable at all...

I agree Sopcast isnt stable and never has been - sites like YES are OK but some of the less well known are not good at all!... nothing better than live but it is better than giving Sky Sports my money Cool

Bit of a newbie to this, my set up works like a treat. Would like to have SOPCAST on my c200, however not sure how to put it on, any help please.

hi guys,

i followed the instructions here and managed to create a html file linking directly to the channels successfully. But it all stopped working suddenly 3 days ago. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Sopcast still works on my PC, so i don't think it's a bandwidth or channel down issue. I also installed Music Jukebox around the same time. Could that be related?

Hmm...
does anybody know how to get this working again? I was planning on creating a plugin which can list the SopCast channels (I am already half way there!). But if the service isn't usable on an NMT anymore, it makes no sense to continue coding on the MSP Plugin Sad

Sopcast also stopped working for me! Previously, it was very unstable, but worked.
Now doesn't work!!! I tried almost everything in configurations without success. Angry

Maybe something was changed on the sopcast servers side?

I've had a bit more of a look and I have tried to change the coding to various settings and no luck at all!! Angry

I know I'm missing something simple but can't get the PCH to open the links to sopcast... Working on PC but I want it back on the PCH

Anyone know how I would find out if - dvbi://broker.sopcast.com:3912/81774 is the correct working link??
