Where are those BIG R Radios gone ?
Hi dudes,
does someone knows why and where are gone the brilliant Big R Radios ??? they are no longer listed in the shoutcast radios.... thx JumpingJackGas |

As you've noticed they are no longer available in the SHOUTcast directory. You can find them at TuneIn but the PCH doesn't yet have an app for this service.
See TuneIn for the available Big R stations. Until an app is developed for the PCH you can use SwissCenter to play them. You'll have to wait for the Syabas member Webservices to come along and hopefully see your thread. You could try a PM but it may be disabled.

Seems the Big R Radio stations are still available at the SHOUTcast website, it's the API that is no longer returning them.
Since the PCH web services and app on the 200 series are approved SHOUTcast implementations I'd be interested to hear from webservices if they know why SHOUTcast is restricting the stations made accessible by the API. Other popular stations such as .977 are also not available. Also many genres now return no results where the same search at the website does. This looks very similar to the backend problems Shoutcast had in August when it took about a week for them to fix it so the API returned most of the popular stations.
