Hi,
I am newbie here..searching on google got me here and hope to get my answers....i have panasonic plasma 65" vt20 and playing media files through Noontec v8, my most all files are mkv with AC3 audio....but some of them are not playing, i get to hear audio sound 5.1 and no video display....i tried the mkvmerge-mux process but it says all fine no errors..what could be the issue here....note that many files play fine but some doesnt.. Thanks in advance... VG |

set the resolution on your tv and turn framerate sync off

Hi,
I checked in my TV settings, dont have anything like in particular but got something called Intelligent frame rate which was ON and did it OFF also as mentioned many MKV files are playing properly....so how can i make out the difference between the proper ones vs not working ones.... Also resolution on tv is set to 16:9 and auto THanks... |

No its not, looks like a non NMT media player.
Sorry but this forum is for NMT Media Players only, we do not know the capabilities of other players so cannot advise. I suggest you look to see what those that dont give video have in common. Hi,
Noontec too is a network media player with samba support and unlike other media players runs all major video formats through HDMI and can be connected via wifi or ethernet, audio gets transport via optical to AV I need help inturns of fixing my mkv files as i am able to run them but few doesnt run over my plasma via noontec....same does play on my computer. Thanks.. |

No one said it is not a networked media player, what it is not is a Networked Media Tank running Syabas's trademarked middleware. This forum is for NMT media players not just any media player.
