C-200 Audio & Video Settings not saved after reboot
Hi,
My C-200 has just developed an issue where every time i reboot i lose my previously saved video & audio settings. My Native resolution is 1080i 60hz but when i reboot i notice the flickers and pops straight away and under closer investigation it has reset to 'auto'. All my audio settings are now set to 'downmix' instead of 'Passthrough' No matter how many times i revert my settings back, each time my box restarts i am back to the above issue. This has only just started happening and i am not sure why? - can anybody help with a solution to this rather annoying issue? Many thanks |

if you flashed the online only step stone update you can do a recovery using this file posted here
http://support.popcornhour.com/article.aspx?id=1089 make sure to grab the second one if you did the online only stepstone. |

RE: C-200 Audio & Video Settings not saved after reboot
factory reset did not work, box just freezes.
I have also noticed that all my installed apps are no longer installed, when i say try and reinstall youtube for example i get any error message saying no space, i try and do the fix to reinitialize the screen just sits and does not progress forcing me to do a power off reset. Any other ideas? |

try to do the recovery but it might fully brick your unit. Sounds like its having trouble reading the NAND flash.

No all data on the drive should be there.

RE: C-200 Audio & Video Settings not saved after reboot
Sorry for the questions but i cant do the recovery because it still boots every time, the procedure on the page you link to relies on the screen asking you to insert the usb stick for recovery.
Can i force this recovery somehow? |

Tried the jumper method and i got an ERR034 (wiki describes this as failed to format flash partition as ext3)
Any ideas what the cause of this is? |
