[Feature] Cannot play CUE files

Hi All,

A300 does not play CUE files, it basically says that it is playing the file but nothing happens. If I try to play the underlying APE file it works fine.

edit update:
Doesn't support cue/flac either.

What's your cue file look like? Post in code or quote tags.

APE file info:

CDImage.ape: Monkey's Audio compressed format version 3990 with normal compression, stereo, sample rate 44100

The file system is ext3 if it matters.

If I choose the cue file it shows thumbnail pic and a play sign but does not play anything. If I choose APE file it shows thumbnail pic /play sign and music starts. It plays it as one big file without options to skip tracks, etc.

Well Cue files were the only way to play gapless music on earlier models so we need it again.

I did have some test cue files and will dig them out and test to confirm. Did you test cue/flac or cue/wav aswell?

Have you tried both within and not within NMJ?

They play on 200 series but not from within NMJ only from filelist.

I haven't installed NMJ yet. Tried that from the file system.
I am new to ph boxes, previously used egreat.

That's OK if it was a M34A or M31B it was an equivalent to the 100 series NMT.

I'll dig out some test files I created when cue files were introduced on the 200 series and test as well over the weekend.

Having the same issue with cue/ape and cue/flac. Would the fix be included in the next firmware release?

Cannot play ape/cue, flac/cue, wav/cue, single file or multifile neither. Waiting for the fix (or feature) very much!

In the new firmware (05-01-120118-23-POP-421-000) CUE list also not works, please resolve this problem in the next firmware.

Yep come on now Syabas give us CUE/APE-CUE/FLAC file support.
