[Fixed] A300 locks up after pause.

I´ve noticed that my A300 locks upp completely(so that I have to do a unplug), after a movie has been paused for a while(don´t know how long, but short pauses works fine.)
Is this a known bug?

Same here. Only solution is to unplug and restart the A-300. I am starting to regret my purchase. That and the stuttering with seamless branching Blu-Rays makes me want to request a refund. If by early next week I don't see an updated firmware I will do just that.

Is have noticed the same thing but my problem was that the remote control stopped working suddenly i couldn't stop the movie or shutdown the popcorn hour. Have to unplug the power.

MALmen not good idea unplug the power, try this: push power button for several seconds until power led in pch start to blinking, wait a seconds and it power off for itself, later press power again and pch will start to reboot.

just use Power + Eject which will reboot the player, the bug is fixed on Popbox V8 already and a firmware for A300 is currently in QA.

I understand where you are coming from, but I didn't spend $200 to be "the first" at anything. I spent good money with the intention of watching my movies. Bugs are to be expected but something as intrinsic as pausing a media player is broken, I cannot help myself but be worried.

the bug is related to our upnp stack this issue didn't show up on our QA Tests and we found only out after Users posting Threads about Popbox V8 locking up, it was hard to find the issue, anyway as i said it is fixed on V8 and also on A300 but A300 firmware is still in QA so i think next week you should have a firmware fixing this issue.

Well you should return it when you have a chance and try other Company. They have bigger bugs then this player even they were on the Market for longer time. I know I tried them a lot. And what ever bug I find here is nothing and I can live with it. And when comes to the Blu-ray ISO I don't have any problem using 1GB network. And playing from Internal HD should be even better.
So I'm happy what I got and be waiting quietly for new Firmware.........

So if you can't live with this bugs then just return it. You will not found anything better anyway.

Indeed, I requested a refund. But I was told the issue would be resolved within "A fortnight" with an upcoming firmware. I am eagerly awaiting said fix.

I still have this issue on the latest version of firmware. It seems to occur for me when you have paused and the screensaver is activated.
