Video - 1080p?

Hi
My tv is 42" Panasonic Plasma 1080P 600hz and I previously had this set in PCH C-200 at 1080P 24p - I stuck some more movies on there recently (MKV) and when I play them I just get black screen and no sound, when I go back to Jukebox it shows I am so many minutes into video and little picture of where I watched to (although in reality saw nothing). well I messed around with the settings and in order to see these I have to set my PCH @ 720P mode.
If I set it to Auto I cannot even see menu, if I set it to 1080P 60hz 05 50hz I get menu going crazy.
Can somebody tell me please what to do?

i would set the pch on 1080p 50Hz
do not use sync framerate.

i also noticed the pch is picky on specific mkv types.
you can use mkvmerge to just recompile the mkv file.
most of the times it works after that.
i am using mkv v2.2.0.

also you can compile files into mkv's using xvid4psp
the best version for me is not the latest version but version 6.001


i can play almost anything without problems.
lately i am playimg with 1080p 50fpds files which seems to be to high for the a110

converting to 25fps solved the probelem.
