Hi all,

the next app which should get soon available, we started to build a app for OnlineTVRecorder.com, which is very popular in Europe, i show you some screen shots and also a youtube clip about the Interface.
I didn't playback the record because of my slow internet Smile

Looking great. Can you tell me which station we'll be able to record (what's the app's limitations)? I don't see any Dutch channels. Will they not be able to be recorded? Also, is it possible to record to a NAS, or is it only possible to record on the internal disk?

otr is recording on there server, after that you can download from there page and decode in different formats, or you can stream direct with this app, or to your smartphone,.........

Channels available are Germany, UK/US, some french,

what has app development todo with firmware, we are working on firmware but this has nothing todo with this

you need to request channels at onlinetvrecorder.com, as long as this are not pay tv channels!

Didn't you get the memo Werner, zero resources should be devoted to other aspects of the PCH when there is a bug present. Especially if you can pull in people who work specifically on the App side and now have them debugging stuff they have no idea about, talk about efficiency... Tongue

Looks nice but I have a question...
Why don't you make in Flash lite Apps the same system of putting characters like writing SMS in old mobile phones... Nubmers from the remote are detected correctly in Flash lite or not? I can easliy put 1, 2, 3 directly from my remote in Youtube app... So why forcing users to navigate by cursors to each character?
eg: 2 = a, 22 (duble 2 press)=b, 222(triple 2 press)= c... and so on...

because this apps need to work also on other devices from us, like asiabox, popbox some whitelable boxes, this devices doesn't have the same remote and most don't have numbers, but with pch remote you can also use number's to key in with the new flash API.
In such apps were you need to type alot it is recommanded to use a keyboard.
The Flash API used on V8 and A300 can use keyboards already, 200er series will get it with next firmware, were also the new appsnarket is included.

Could Flash App detect on what type of hardware it is started? So in case of devices equiped with numpad remotes it is enabling option to use SMS like charecers input?

it is not needed, because you can also use a popcornhour remote on the popbox if you want, so if you have a remote without numbers, then you can't use them because they are not on the remote, if the remote has them then you can use them.

So I am obviously missing something... I have C200 and original radio remote with the numpad.
How to force Youtube app to enter characters (in search) just by pressing numbers just like writing SMS? All is appearing are just numbers instead of characters…
