Subtitles will become out of sync when fastforwarding and jump around in timeline
The subtitles easy comes out of sync with the movie when using fastforward/rewind. Also happens when using the directional keys (up,down, left, right) for jumping in the movie. Affects AVI XviD files with MP3 audio & SRT subtitles.

Had the same problem too. It seems if you fast forward, fast rewind, skip back/fwd a few times the subtitles go out of sync. After stopping then playing from the beginning and skipping forward (holding down 30sec skip) to desired time seems to re-sync it. This affects avi xvid anf 720p & 1080p mkv. external srt subtitles.

+1 Rolleyes

Nothing lasts forever. It is especially true for electronic devices. Thank God, consumerism will make you happy to purchase a more fashionable device as soon as the old one starts to fail.

yeah, I've had the problem with fast-forwarding typical anime fansubs. skipping seems to usually be okay though.

if its an avi try remuxing the avi file and see if it works. The way avi files indexed was terrible for things like ff/rw. but sometimes a new index helps it.

The problem persists changing chapters in MKV too. I try to download and install 05-01-111124-23-POP-421 (25.11.2011) firmware, but nothing changed. Is it possible to restore the previous firmware release?
OR: will it be fixed in a next firmware release?

It's better with USB 25-11-2011 forum firmware but there's still way to go before it's perfect.

Any idea when this will be fixed? I was planning on purchasing an A-300 primarily to watch Anime and Anime fansubs.
