hi guys,i had to re format the hard drive on my a100 popcorn,i have transfered files to it ok,but when i play the film there is no sound?any ideas which sound settings i need to have?thanks

After formatting, does you installed sound card? If so, then you need to format it again or change the sound card.

Did you go back through the audio settings and switch to PCM? I recently updated my TV firmware and lost audio on every video file I've checked on both my PCH and my WDTV.. yet my xbox, PS3 and cable all still have sound |

So if I understand correctly, you use the sound over the HDMI cable?
Have you checked you audio settings so that HDMI audio is enabled on the pch? Other than that, is it ALL files, also MP3s for example? If not, maybe you're not on the latest firmware? |
