when you compare this C300 to the previous C200, do you notice performance improvements due to the new CPU (800Mhz vs 667MHz)?

Is there any prospect of releasing "upgrade kit" in the form of motherboard on the new processor to set it to C200?

will c300 have the same support as the c200? so when a crucial bug is there it will not be fixed and eventually you're forced to look at the c400?

otherwise i so far see no reason to upgrade form c200 but for the company to make money sake it seems good enough product for new owners.

will be waiting the port UI port 300 series to 200 before even thinking about upgrading.

The color TFT seems like Quasimodo to me, at least for some esthetics sake make it 16:9 ratio

Werner, does the C300 (or A300 for that matter) incorporate discrete power on/off remote codes? All of us that use universal remotes to control their home theater setup would welcome such an addition.

Cinavia is mandatory for 2012, so, maybe if they waited for 2012 they wouldn't be able to escape it, like they are for the C-300.

Maybe, and i insist on maybe, the C-300, because of Cinavia, may probably be the last of its kind.

ive had my c200 for some time, is this c300 going to be superior in any way for actual use? im wondering about the new processor mainly, what differences will the faster processor make?

it also has faster memory, faster internal bus-, l2 cache, improved network, lower memory SDK and doesn't have gaya using more memory than the old hardware had.

based on the a300 with same basic specs its noticeable.

Nothing more interesting compared to c-200.
No USB 3 !
Gigabit is not much better than the c200 (from the comments of the owners of A-300).
I wish a lot of fun to the future owners of this box, as I had with my C-200 (firmware bug, bad hardware ...)
I see that the connectors on the back of the device are in the same place as those of C-200, a C-200 motherboard upgrade might be possible ? ...

Which HD audio codecs can it decode (in HD, not the SD core)?
Does it feature Cinavia? Will you be obliged to add Cinavia in a future firmware update?

The Cinavia question is an interesting one. The license does fall into Cinavia however I've always been unclear if you need to just get a units made before feb 2012 to be excluded from this and will future firmwares be available for those older units.

Also what is the mfgr cycle going to be for this model because if the above get it fast is true I can see a rush to make sure your going to get one that isn't Cinavia.
