When i brows subs the movie stops for a sec and if the movie got inbuilt subs i can use a file sub. I dident have any of these problem in my a100.

And menus on dvd images does not work.

i got trobled with my hard disk internal...
when i start my a300... the a300 didn't detect my hard disk.... then i plug off the power and plug in again... and it's detect.... OMG... it's happen 3 times already since i bought it 3 days ago...
please help me... is it the new firmware will help me??

Got my A-300 a week ago, and it's been pretty trauma-free. It does the job that I bought it for nicely, plays all my MKVs with no issues whatsoever.

The NMJ interface isn't perfect at all, but it's not bad either. On the whole I am very satisfied and commend Syabas for a great product. With the regular firmware updates that seem to be on the cards, it can only get better.

Dear all,

I'm overjoyed at the moment!
I received my A-300 just 45 minutes ago and it's working like a charm.

When i switched it on, it promped that a new firmware was available an if I would like to install it...yes ofcourse.

All went flawlessly and after some snooping around in the menu's I'm running a BD-rip at the moment, no stutters DTS-HS MSTR sound, the right subs...the works!

I must say that this device is a lot easier to set up than my predecessor A-200!

So I would like to thank the developers for their fine job, THANKS!


If everything works as well as this initial testing, I'm a very happy guy.

I'll keep you informed after a longer testing period.

Good Morning & Happy New year to everyone.
A much welcomed ability in the next firmware is to see what size of internal HDD by pressing a button.
Now we can't see how much space has our internal HDD.
Also the problem with the blank screen when we choose subs during a movie.

kernel version 094-23-pop. My question is this is should be the last firmware?Thanks in advance to help this newbie.

Launched the firmware update for the A300, the update was secussesfully downloaded but not is it stuck for more than an hour on Rebobting , what should I do ?

odetoledo, this last firmware is a mess.... i'm using the released firmware of 25 October 2011 (05-01-111016-23-POP-421-000) at least that is working. i tried the new (2 December 05-01-111125-23-POP-421-000) but i quit in the same day, a lot of issues to solve. I'm waiting for a PROPER firmware relase.....

i'm having issues with NMJ when trying to create a jukebox for my shared on a NAS. whatever network protocol (SMB, NFS, TCP NFS). any known issue with this firmware release ?

Thanks,firmware update was made in 3minutes!, and fix me a resync problem with subtitles if you ff or rewind,now is perfect.The only problem that i'm having is sometimes not always, there is no audio,then i unplug hdmi cable and plug it back and it works well or i reboot and works good. I have audio settings with hdmi on ,and all audio passthrugh.

I got my PCH A300 a couple of weeks back - updated to the new firmware.
I am very happy with the new acquisition and am able to work with my NAS and other basic stuff.

However I need help with one / two issues (may be separate but I suspect related) -
- I have not been able to figure out how do I point the PCH to a web page - the Title button on remote does not respond - which screen do I use it in? Have not been able to figure this reading the forums for last few days.
- Installed the YAMJ and placed the index.htm on Share\Jukebox - but I am not able to see this file in the File View to execute. File view only shows media files ??? The YAMJ app is also not able to recognise the Index.htm in the jukebox folder????

Please point me to existing page or provide help.

replugging HDMI cable can be dangerous for your hardware... try to press the audio mode button press and wait 2 seconds... repeat 2 times if fails.
If still no audio press power for 5 seconds to reboot.
