Auto Update (by folder)
NMJ v1 had this (largely useless for performance reasons) option in setup to automatically update NMJ when you go into it.
This is one of the key features Oversight had that seems missing in NMJ v2: With the scan performance having improved massively, it would be great if you could specify certain folders in the jukebox as being 'auto update' folders and that they would auto update (not rescan) on load of NMJ. This would be ideal where you have auto downloading files going to a download directory, for example. Votes on this as a feature? Only Fallen Angels can sing this loud!Popcorn Hour C-200 / A-300 Sony DB3500ES Samsung 3D LED 46" iMac 27" |

RE: Auto Update (by folder)
I just got my PCH A-300 and I think this could be a great feature, although I'm not able to submit my vote for no apparent reason.

RE: Auto Update (by folder)
It's actually a key feature for me.
Consider this; lets say you buy a dvd, take it home, rip it to a folder your NMJ can see. At that point you have two choices, either go directly to the file through the UI or update NMJ and find it through NMJ. Personally I would go UI all the time. One of the reasons I haven't used YAMJ extensively before (although I have set to auto update nightly now). RE: Auto Update (by folder)
That would be a great improvement indeed!
