You can't do it with remote. Did you rerun YAMJ after changing the code in settings.xml? Launching jukebox again in your PCH is not the same thing. You have to rerun YAMJ and then try again.

Also. There is a downloadable settings.xml file in DentedBoxes website which does the trick. http://www.dentedboxes.com/doku.php/ever...ings:quick The file is the third quick setting file from bottom of the page, under 'Main index and movies only.'

Try that and remember to rerun YAMJ before launching Eversion on your PCH.

Like Korben wrote use "wall.poster.full" in indexINDEX and/or indexMOVIE. Screen names can be found here:

But I recommend to NOT put the settings.xml into /skins/eversion/eskins/evstreamed.
Create the settings.xml ONLY in /Jukebox/evstreamed after the first YAMJ scan; this way no YAMJ rerun is needed to test the settings and it won't be overwritten during the next YAMJ run.

put it in both places and no rerun is needed and they aren't lost if you ever need to delete the jukebox folder.

there is no setting but the eskins can be modified to your desire.

It seems harder than it is, basically it's just a few commands and it's pretty simple to see what they are. start with the eskin file that matches the screen setting your trying to modify. if there is an include then it points to another file that is also used. forum.dentedboxes.com is the best place to ask the people making the eskins how they do things.. http://www.dentedboxes.com/doku.php/ever...:eskinwiki is the reference pages to the eskin system.

errrr... i'm seeing skinmakers advertising all-in-one downloads with versions R0155, R0157 even R0160. So where do we get our grubby little hands on these? They're not on the dentedboxes forum where they normally are. Or are they not for general public release?

Regarding Eversion flash skin on a A300 ive noticed its slower than my c200 runing Aeon
I have 2 A300 popcorns 1 running Teranova and one running evhell . my network is all gigabyte and cat6

Is there maybe somthing im not setting up write or are they doing somthing that they dont need to be scanning for????

Can you describe a little better what you mean by slower? It might sound like a strange question but I just need to understand what your experiencing better.

when loading the main movie page its seesm to take some time .. or when you select a movie then go back to the main movie wall it just seem to be slower on the A3oo as to the c200 my collection is about 2000 ..
maybe its the eskin im using what eskin would u recommed to be one of the fastest for loading up

I've just received my Popcorn Hour A-300. I've set up YAMJ & eversion. It seems to work but when I try to play a movie I receive a message that it can't access my M drive. I've set up a share which currently points to C:\tmp on my media server (IP: 192.168.0.150). I can browse the share from the PCH and I can even play the movie which I've put there to test with. I have set up a user named pch with pch as password and my library file looks like this:

how long is some time? also where is your jukebox stored?

@Amoebiuss: I had tried different syntaxes for playerpath. In the end I deleted all my Jukebox files, tried the smb://... and it finally worked.

IT takes about 5/8 seconds to load and they are stored on a nas Drive running freenas v8, IF this is normal thats fine.

When you movie down the movie page it seems to be ok ..its just when you first load the main page and when you go back to the main page after watching a movie ....

I agree, yours is running slow.

after you go into an index the first time, does going into other indexes go faster just after that? being a nas, things like drivings spinning up, etc could impact an idle setup with some just coming back to life speed. Then you might also want to look into just the general speed between the nas and pch itself to see if it might be slower and room for improvement.

I forget what hardware player you said but I know a few people who keep a thumbdrive and local copy of the jukebox because in their nas setups they find it much faster to have the jukebox local.

Ok cool i didnt know i could store the jukebox on a usb drive can i just drag the current jukebox onto a usb .then put it in the popcorn and poin jamy to that???? do i leave a copy on the nas as well thanks For any help

I know Nas,s can be slow all the drives things like spin down,power save mode are all disabled

This said its still a net work drive , so ill try the Usb
